But WAIT! There's MORE!

In the past decade or so there has been an awakening in the animal welfare field.
More and more creative ideas have been encorporated into policies which have helped
to improve the ability of members of the public to take care of their pets and
animal shelters to save more lives.

There are educational resources available to us today that did not exist just a few years ago.
For example, there are conferences being held all around the U.S. and beyond
at which progressive programs are described by those who have achieved success with them.

Some of these conferences are:

American Pets Alive!
Animal Care Expo
Best Friends
Colorado Animal Welfare Conference
Florida Animal Control Association
National Animal (Care and) Control Association
National Council on Pet Population
Pet Professional Guild
Society of Animal Welfare Administrators (SAWA, now AAWA), Management
Texas Unites
The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement (AAWA)

I realize that I am not able to travel all around the country to attend these conferences,
in spite of the high value of the learning opportunity,
due to the time required and the expense of travel.
Even if I could, there are often multiple sessions going on simultaneously,
and I could only attend one at a time.

(The following may sound like a commercial message, however,
I have no financial interest in this company, whatsoever.)

I have found out that all of the conferences that are listed above
are available on CD-ROM including, in most cases, for each presentation,
the audio recording, the slides, and often additional handouts.

For example, the Best Friends National Conference in 2018 consised of 80 presentations,
all for the price of $99.95 -- less than the price of a ticket to Los Angeles.
In addition, 15% of the price of the CD-ROM is passed on to the organization.

(I repeat, other than being one of their best customers,
I have no financial interest in the company.)

I would encourage you to take a look at
Professional Programs Inc.
Here.

Click on the animal-related "Products" in the left column.
You can view a list of each of the presentations that was made at each conference.

It was an honor and a pleasure to be invited to present at TheAcatemy 2019.
I hope that this information is useful.

Thank You !!!
