RescueGroups.org provides websites to not-for-profit rescue organizations to help them fulfill their mission. Typically, the organizations we partner with are focused on spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, sponsorships, fund raising and other projects related to homeless or unwanted animals.Since we are not responsible for the actions of any of our partner organizations, we recommend that you contact them directly for their privacy statement.
What information we gather:
You may be asked for your name, zipcode and mother's maiden name when you register with RescueGroups.org.
How we use any information we receive:
RescueGroups.org keeps any and all information in the strictest confidence and does not share or use that information for anything other than general purposes (like knowing how many people have registered in an organization's area).
Also, some groups may have forms that request additional information. This information is never used by RescueGroups.org except to help the organization with the form itself, or in ways directly related to the service you have requested.
We do track which web pages you view, and your IP address for the purpose of determining which web pages and sections of the web site are most popular (or least popular).
Mailings and Phone Calls:
We will never contact you directly unless you have requested it. You will only receive the e-mails you have requested on your Options page. You can choose to never receive an e-mail from us, however we will always e-mail you if you request a password change. We will never call you unless you request us to.
