RescueGroups is a team of volunteers who have come together to provide high-tech websites for the animal rescue community. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization that is operated solely on donations from the community and rescue organizations we serve.

True, spays and neuters could be done on a couple animals for $100. However, when you have a RescueGroups website, the time savings, added exposure and added website features will impact the lives of dozens more than just those two!

Some organizations truely cannot afford the $100/year donation fee. If this is the case for your organization, please contact us -- often we can find someone to voluntarily pay the donation fee for smaller groups.

No one personally benefits from the donations to RescueGroups. We do not have any payroll. We use the donations to partially pay our costs, including hosting, office costs and technology related purchases. We use open license software and develop all of our own website code to keep our costs low. So I guess, all of our partner organizations benefit from donations!

We hear a lot of organizations say that they have a webmaster or someone who does their website for them, or that their website is donated to them. We're always glad to hear that an organization has made their website a priority! Our service provides tons of features that you probably aren't getting from your current website, however we know you feel a loyalty to your current website and webmaster. That's why we want to work together with you to make sure you can take advantage of what we have to offer without slighting your webmaster or hosting service.

One idea is to talk to your webmaster about RescueGroups and discuss some of the features you would gain by moving to RescueGroups. Ask them if they would be willing to help migrate your website to RescueGroups -- and if they would be willing to help keep the site running!

We will provide comprehensive technical support for your RescueGroups account. We will try to answer all questions and resolve all issues as quickly as possible. You will find us very willing to help make your website the best it can be!
